ADHD Symptoms in Adults

Adult ADHD presents with symptoms that consistently affect daily functioning, including issues with attention, hyperactivity, impulsivity, and executive functioning. Adults with ADHD may struggle to maintain focus, manage tasks, or regulate emotions. Challenges include forgetfulness, impulsive behaviours, disorganization, and difficulty prioritizing tasks. Emotional regulation issues, such as irritability and hypersensitivity to criticism, are common. These symptoms can impact relationships, job performance, and financial stability. Individuals with ADHD may also face challenges with time management, completing tasks, and managing stress effectively.
