Dr. Joubert was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. He came to Canada after practising for five years in South Africa. He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of the Free State in Bloemfontein, South Africa and has worked in various hospitals throughout his career. Before moving to Canada, he was a lecturer in surgery at his alma mater.

He currently holds an associate professor position at the University of Calgary, a clinical lecturer role at the University of British Columbia and is an assessor for internationally trained physicians in BC.
​
Dr. Joubert’s medical practice covers all ages and maternity patients up to 32 weeks.
He underwent special training in emergency medicine and enjoy working in the ER.
​
He has a passion for wine making which brought him to the sunny Okanagan. He loves the outdoors and travelling.
Dr. Joubert speaks English and Afrikaans.

Lisa Corsie, Family Nurse Practitioner, completed degrees in Physical Education and Nursing at the University of British Columbia (UBC).
After working in Emergency and Intensive Care Units as a registered nurse (RN), she completed her Family Nurse Practitioner training at the University of New Mexico and a Nurse Practitioner (NP) Fellowship in Addiction Medicine through the British Columbia Centre on Substance Use.
As an NP, she has worked in Internal Medicine, Rural Family Practice and Addiction Medicine.
She has a particular interest in mental health, chronic disease management and women’s health.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading, spending time with family and doting her two cats.

Jodi Tung
Jodi was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and earned a Bachelor of Social Work from Okanagan University College (now UBC Okanagan) in 2000. She has supported individuals, families, and communities across British Columbia for more than 25 years, working from a solution-focused, strengths-based, and person-centred approach.
She has volunteered in her community for over 30 years with five non-profit organizations and has served as a Board Director with the North Okanagan Neurological Society since 2020. Her background includes 10 years as a CLBC home share provider, seven years as a BCHL hockey billet, and three years working in Mental Health and Substance Use with Interior Health across acute and primary care settings.
Jodi completed a graduate-level Teaching Certificate through the Taylor Institute (2025) and expects to finish both a Master of Social Work (University of Calgary) and a Master of Education in Counselling (Thompson Rivers University) by December 2026.
Outside of work, she enjoys paddle boarding with her dog, cycling, and watching her two children play sports.
