Your provider can write a prescription and send it to your preferred pharmacy.  When you become a patient, we will ask about your preferred pharmacy.  Prescriptions will go to this pharmacy by default, so if you are travelling or using a different pharmacy, please be sure to inform your physician.

Important:

  • Prescriptions will not be filled without an appointment, whether by phone or in-person. If your pharmacy sends a refill request, our office will notify you via a patient portal message to schedule an appointment.

  • It is your responsibility to book an appointment when you notice your medication is running low. We do not accommodate last-minute refill requests for routine prescriptions. While we understand that unexpected situations may occur, it is your responsibility to schedule appointments in advance. In the uncommon case that you cannot secure an appointment in time, please request a short-term supply from your pharmacy until your next appointment. Avoid using urgent appointment slots for prescription refills.
